25+ rear bulkhead/frame

The plywood bulkhead/frame approx. 3' in front of the transom is not glassed in to the factory fiberglass flanges. I can move the plywood a little bit and wonder why this is not glassed in like the transom. Is this how it was built?

Yes, that’s how it was built. Mine is the same way, I’m assuming it’s so you can access the starboard side of the transom and fittings. It’s untreated ply wrapped in the same vinyl leather as the stock headliner. It’s held in place with a few screws, that bite into a fiberglass flange about 1 - 2 inches wide. It’s easy to remove, rebuild, and replace.
