I have received a quote from West by North on a new 3 blade campbell sailer propeller for my Ericson 34-2 (25XP engine) and compared to what I currently have 2 blade 15 x 11P, his selection of a CS is quite a bit smaller. Also I reviewed several of the previous threads associated to this topic had a CS prop sizing of 14 x 8p vs below, 13x9.
If someone can provide some input on the performance of their CS prop on a 34-2 or 35-3 25XP engine based on a 14x8 vs 13x9 or whatever you end up using, that would be great. I also read that CS selections may be a slight undersize at times so I just want you input to be sure.
Thanks!
For reference, I have attached his selection and reasoning:

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for your continued interest in the Campbell Sailer Propeller.
We typically go with a 3 blade RH 13x9 for the Universal M-25XP @ 2.05. This prop will allow the engine to achieve full rpm and deliver cruise around 2400-2600rpm. We sometimes go with 14x8 for guys who are looking to maximize cruising speed at a lower rpm. The trade off here is the engine may struggle to turn the prop at higher power settings.
We recently went with a 3 blade 13x9 for a Catalina 34 (similar size boat). Owner indicates 6.5kts cruising at 2600-2700rpm and can achieve full engine rpm.
Pricing on a 3 blade RH 13x9 is USD $590.00. Freight via DHL Express (3-4 business days) is $42.00. I can get this out the door for Wednesday next week.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Best,
Kelsey
