Don't 32-2's usually have the "two benches" style interior, or could you get them with the dinette option as well?

She was purchased new from a dealer in Ft. Lauderdale. We kept her at the Miami Yacht Club until 1980 when we moved to Sarasota. She remained at Marina Jacks until moving to Grosse Ile, Michigan at the Ford Yacht Club (SE Michigan)

The early 70’s 32-II’s had what you see in the photos. A “U” shaped settee and pedestal table on the port side and a straight bench seat on the starboard side. The only layout variation option was in the head configuration of a hanging locker on the starboard side or combined head and locker across port and starboard.

If you had the starboard locker only version, there was a removable panel on the main bulkhead allowing a full sized adult to put their feet into the hanging locker to create a full size (but narrow) berth - thus supporting the claim “sleeps six”.

I think there’s still an original 70’s E32-II brochure download on the EYO site for you to check out.

kapnkd, you're spot on. You can see the removable panel behind the fire extinguisher in the hammock.

Thanks! ...I’m quite familiar with the 32-II having owned mine since brand new in ‘73. (She’s still going strong and has been a comfortable boat for us cruising and then more than proved herself on the race courses as my son got into racing.)
