She was purchased new from a dealer in Ft. Lauderdale. We kept her at the Miami Yacht Club until 1980 when we moved to Sarasota. She remained at Marina Jacks until moving to Grosse Ile, Michigan at the Ford Yacht Club (SE Michigan)

Yes there are and welcome to this forum.

...Iím in SE Michigan (below Detroit) on Grosse Ile which is at the North Western end of Lake Erie. There are 5 Ericsons at our Ford Yacht Club alone plus 1 or 2 at the Monroe Boat Club and several more at local marinas.

    Great Lakes Ericsonís

    Yes there are.
I tried to get everyone together like the NorthWest fleet does.
    Two responded.
There are several on Superior, Michigan and Erie.

Good to hear From you all. I sail out of Harbor nine in St Claire shores. I must confess that this is my first sail boat that must stay in a marina. I have sailed since I was about nine but still feel I know only enough to be dangerous. Will be looking for lots of advice in the near future. Thank you in advance.
PS happy that my first large boat has such a great community.

I used to be at Jefferson beach and know of at least a 32-3 there. At Markley Marine on the Clinton River there is at least one other besides myself.

    Greatish Lake

Every now and then Congress makes Lake Champlain a Great Lake and then they change it back, but right now I think we are so you can count a half dozen or so Ericsonís Over here.
