If you just want "ball park" measurements so that you can get quotes from sailmakers... just ask them to look up your boat in their database.
OTOH no sailmaker will build you a sail until your actual boat and rig have been measured. This applies also if you are shopping for a used sail and looking at the actual measurements of those existing sails to decide if one of them will fit.
Get your steel tape measure up the forestay. There is no substitute for real information about your own boat.
Note that the sailmaker will also need an accurate J and also will have a chart to fill out with track and car locations. Then there are decisions about whether you want the clew high or low, how much overlap you need for your particular model, full hoist for the working jib or not, and a few other "etc." I cannot think of just offhand.
Seth monitors this site and is a professional sailmaker in his Day Job. He will probably be checking in -- or you can find his email addy by searching on his name on this site.

Best,
Loren
