Freeze Protection in Insurance Coverage alert

I learned last week that my BOAT US policy no longer included freeze protection by default for Maryland. I had to call and add it for this year (was previously included for certain states).

I don't know if it was dropped when they switched to GEICO, but it was only $10 to add it. The deadline to add it may be October 31 2017 (it was for me).

Got an e-mail from them also, in Wisconsin. Bet there are a lot of people in for a surprise, believing this coverage was included. I store inside heated so I will not add it.
