New Ericson owner of a '72 25'er. This is my 3rd sailboat - had 2 previously when I lived in Alaska.
This boat has been setting in a barnyard near the Casey/Russell county line on KY 80 for 5+ years, and is requiring a lot of sweat equity. I do know that the hull HOLDS water! The PO has saved a lot of the literature, but of course I still have questions.
Hull number is ERY 25X 14M 72K - am I correct in assuming this is the 14th hull of this line?
We are in Casey County, Kentucky, about 30 miles from Green River Lake, and Lake Cumberland; the boat has a trailer.
First question re: the OMC Saildrive engine: Has anyone replaced the gas engine with a diesel?
