Came across this at Defender, could be a great deal for a New Englad Viking:

Their normal "discount" price for the model 6000 is a bit over $1500.
This sounds almost too good to be true.
If it's as presented, yup, someone should buy it asap.

Perhaps when they say "scratch and dent" they really mean it!

Trust me. They really mean it. I've gotten a number of Defender "scratch and dent" deals over the years. They are minor cosmetic imperfections that generally can't be totally fixed. Worth it if you're not into perfection. Sometimes they are overstock and brand spanking new as in the three Lewmar opening ports I picked up for $50.00 a piece.
