I've been using UGrib on my desktop, but they seem to have gone silent.

OpenCPN will format the email request based on the area you're viewing and the data elements you select. When you load it, it will overlay the grib on your raster or vector chart. It also contains several display options for each of the data elements contained in the grib file.
