E-27 engine angle

I recently rebuilt my Atomic 4 and am in the process of reinstalling it. Got the engine and shaft couplings aligned and everything turns easily by hand. The engine however appears to be at about a 2 to 3 degree angle to starboard from the boats centerline. Is this normal?

Thanks,

Some angle is normal. I think it is done to help counteract prop walk in reverse and also helps get the shaft out past the rudder. There is a visible angle on my engine. It is pointing to starboard a little.

That's what I figured. Just wanted to confirm before I put all the mounting screws in. On the E-27 those buggers aren't the easiest to get at.

Thanks so much for the reply.
