I went to look at it
As of 7/25/16 this boat is still listed on craigslist. I went to look at it about a month ago. The boat is sunk on a sandbar, some of the windows are broken out and by the size of the barnacles on the bottom of the mast its seems to have been there a-lot longer than the owner told me. At high tide it looks like its sitting in 7ft of water. I'm not usually afraid to take on a project, but this is one I had to pass on, and I'm sure my Wife is happy about it. If it had pedestal steering and wasn't underwater for that long I would have. Sad to see an Ericson in such sorry shape. One ad says he'll take 600 for it and another says its free...
