I'll be showing the Hawaii video with some remarks about solo cruising in the next weeks:

Thursday, April 30--California Yacht Club, MDR, luncheon.

Wednesday, May 6--Los Angeles Yacht Club, Cabrillo, luncheon.

It costs 15 or 20 bucks for the lunch and helps support the clubs.

If you happen to be there, please say hello.

I will try and make it to the LAYC luncheon at Cabrillo on May 6th. Although I'm not a member, my boat is right there. I'll check at LAYC to see if I need reservations. Thanks for the heads up Christian. :egrin:

Thank you,

I just noticed this is on a Wednesday and I won't be able to make it because I have to work, and I work about 25 miles away from the Marina.
MMLOGAN, Here's the link for the LAYC R.S.V.P for this luncheon on Wednesday May 6th at noon.

May 9, Marina del Rey

All welcome at PSSA Meeting May 9, 8 p.m., Pacific Mariners Yacht Club on Panay Way, Marina del Rey.

I'm going to show the 10-minute Sailomat Video and discuss self-steering, and bring some books to sign.

Pacific Singlehanded Sailing Association is a robust club--and the bar has beer.

2018: 7:30 pm Friday Jan. 26, Marina del Rey

PSSA, Pacific Singlehanded Sailing Association, is good for a visit if you sail shorthanded in SoCal, have thought about singlehanded racing, or develop a sudden infection of Hawai'i-itis. New meeting place: South Coast Corinthian Yacht Club, 13723 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey, California 90292.

Informal, conversational and proof that solo sailors aren't antisocial or off their meds. Well, most of them.

If we can get him to Seattle, try for a few more miles and catch a float plane to the Rendezvous in July. What a Grand Entrance!
