I recently purchased ERY32827C888. I'd like to understand what the number means and also confirm that the vessel is indeed a 1988. Can anyone advise on this?

There is an app for this, your boat does come up on it. App called HIN Search.

According to app, last figure is an 8.

Hello this is a magic explanation.
ERY Means Ericsson yacht
32 means size of the boat, 32 feet long
827 Means number of hull built
C Month of manufacture or completion Start January A, February B, March C, and so on.
88 Means year of manufacture (1988)
