Sorry if this has been asked & answered. I'm uncertain about the correct length and diameter for the main halyard on my Ericson 35-3. 3/8 or 7/16? The manual is confusing to me since it specifies cut cable length, which would allow for splice. My current halyard is led aft. Will go for all-line halyard. I'm a recreational sailor, no racing anticipated. Thanks, Eric
