La Mer 2004 Notice of Rendezvous
La Mer, the Lake Michigan Ericson Rendezvous will be
held August 6th to August 8th, 2004 in St. Joseph
Michigan. Weekend activities planned include a
cocktail social Friday night, beer can racing Saturday
at 11 am, a party on the beach at six pm, a potluck
dinner party starting at seven pm and socializing
until sunset. Sunday is photo shoot day with digital
stills and full motion picture photography of your
vessel underway at departure. Kids over and under
twelve are free.
Vikings can tie up in the river just past the railroad
bascule bridge by the park (location I), or make a
reservation at West Basin Marina (location A) on the
map in Lakeland Boating - Lake Michigan Cruising
Guide.

West Basin Marina is located on 273 Marina Drive, and
has 94 total slips, 74 seasonal and 20 transient,
ranging from 30' to 60' in length. West Basin Marina
has a convenient location just inside the pierheads
(no bridges), one block from the public beach and next
to the St. Joseph River Yacht Club.

The City Boat Launch is located on Anchor's Court, on

passes are available from the City Clerk's Office at
City Hall.
