I think this locker area rot is common and related to design. The PO of my 38 did the repair around the fiberglass locker bucket and solved problem but left me with that small headliner just aft of anchor door to deal with. In process I could see anatomy of that area —- PO extracted far R and L upper rotted out wood bulkhead exposing the glass locker bucket hanging in place in bow compartment. All dry now but no matter how dry—-no leaks in ports or hatches either—-we find a dedicated desiccation system is required for the v birth area or mold will grow no matter what. This is PNW but still impressive how much more water we catch out of air up front compared with aft areas
