Lew marvelous port light trim

Our E-boat has the Lewmar "Old Standard" Port lights. I just replaced the lenses and o rings with new ones from Catalina Direct. Easy and inexpensive!The inside trim looks very old and yellow. Nobody has it, not Select Plastics, Lewmar or Defender. Has anyone here tried using the "New Standard" Port light trim on the "Old Standard" ports?If it works it would be "Lew marvelous"!Cue the Sanford and Son theme song...wa wa wa wa!Rick

The current Lewmar trim is plastic the thickness of a plastic cup, which you trim with a razor blade to snap over the interior rim. Unless the dimensions of the new/old opening ports are exactly the same, the trim isn;t interchangeable. Even on brand-new lights, they're hard to fit and tend to pop off.
