The spinnaker photo of Spindrift was taken in August 2011 during "Bridge to Bridge", a 98 mile race from Astoria to Newport. We were first over the line in the photo and first at 90 miles into the race but turned on the motor (first:0) when the wind died though others stuck it out. We are selling Spindift as we do not have enough free time to enjoy her. Previous owners sailed her to Mexico & raced her in Transpac ("Cantata").

Sad to see it for sale

I haven't sailed on this boat but I have inspected it twice for the Bridge 2 Bridge race and can confirm that it is a solid fast boat and whoever buys it will be getting a winner.

So does this mean you will be racing something else in the B2B next year?????

Rumor has it that our J-24 participated in B2B a number of years ago when it was called JJFlash? Hmmm...no, on second thought....that doesn't sound like much fun to me.
Thanks for the nice words about Spindrift!
