e35II short article in Good Old Boat (issue 80 Sept/Oct)

One page comparing the Mistral 33 the Seafarer and the e35II by Ted Brewer. Nice article, especially for those of 35II owners.
And longer article about the Air Head composting marine head.

??

Brewer refers to the 35 II as having single lowers. Mine are double...were the early boats single?

Oops, my bad. The sailplan does show only 1 fwd lower, and I believe hull number 1 had just the 1. This doesn't mean it wasn't changed
along the way.

By #163 (1970) there were two lowers. Does anyone have an older 35-2 than mine? Sorry if that is a hijack question. Edd

I just started another thread on this topic in the Design and Function Forum.

Far as I know, every E35II I've seen, including ours, features double fore/aft lowers. Also, I wrote a response to Ted Brewer's Comparisons article and GOB's editor wrote today and said he forwarded my email to Mr Brewer.

If Hull #1 featured only one lower, as Martin said, the question is, how many were made that way? Or, was #1 the only one?
