Aloha all,
after having two broken steering incidents (2011 on E35, and 2018 on E38), both due to over-steering by unaware/untrained crew-passengers, I think it time to share this advice: always show anyone who will be steering your boat (whether in emergency or not), when to know that they have steered the wheel to a stop, AND TO NOT TRY TO PUSH OR PULL THE WHEEL FURTHER!!!
The first time this happened it stripped several teeth off the bronze steering...
