Cleat Project Finished

Rate this Entry
The new cleats are all in and luckily they covered up the epoxy filled holes left from the prior smaller cleats.
The only finishing detail left for another day is gel coating the filled-in holes where the old spinnaker pole chocks use to live on the side deck.
(Every project I start leads to at least one more... or two more... or.....)

My stock cleats were a little undersized for this size boat, and I had become envious of the Ericson 38 on my dock....
Of course, like many things in life, it's never good to obsess about other people's equipment... the next boat out from me is a Yamaha 33, with 11 inch cleats! Hot Damn!
