    raw water pump in and out? Bleed?

    I would take the cover off the pump and turn the motor by hand just a bit or have somebody hit the key for just a half second, this should make it obvious

    I don't want anything getting so hot it could cause a burn if touched. Damage I would think is not a problem until you get near 200 degrees.
