I currently just bought my 1974 Ericson 27, This boat still needs some work, but I'm enjoying learning about the boat as i go on to fixing the boat. I have sailed it a few times already and have enjoyed it everytime. I been checking this site out for some time now which is one of the main reasons I've decided to buy an Ericson. I have found the site helpfull and entertaining. I will try to contribute as much as i can as i learn from my Ericson.

Glad to see another Ericson in the area. I currently own a 29, But grew up on a 35 markI. Hope to see you out at the islands someday:egrin:

Thanks for the welcome. I have been sailing the upper Channel Islands for most of my life on my Dad's 1965 Ericson 35. I bought my 29 7 years ago and am in the process of installing a roller furler at the present time. I will be installing it by myself, I would be ever so greatful if anyone has any sugestions.
