We ended up between 5 of them on Friday, on the way across to Catalina.

Yes, it was a great weekend. Wouldn't want the motor-zoo too often but it was fun as a one-time event.

It would have been great to have somehow seen the whales under water to see what they were up to, how big they were and how many there really were.

Blue Whales

We too were out both Sat and Sun and had numerious whale sightings.
Sunday early we were able to sail right in amongs a group and had one dive direcly under the boat from about 50'. Very exciting, i too would love to have jumping and viewed them from within their element.
