On August 16th, 2003, the Corinthian Yacht Club of Tacoma is hosting its annual Vashon Challenge. Located at beautiful Tyee Marina 
the race consists of a pre-race party on the Friday, and then on Saturday a race around Vashon Island. The race is for single or double-handed boats only, which makes finding crew a lot easier. Lots of "cruiser" types typically come out for this race, as it is pretty scenic in Colvos Passage, and a pretty fun race. They are offering free moorage on the Friday night for those that come early. Regardless, I will post the results, as I am competing, and hope to do well.
