All,

I have two friends in Cuba who are sailors and were looking to sail with someone who might be heading for Havanna. They are very nice and are from the Ericson family. The couples father is the owner of a Ron Holland Ericson 36. If anyone is planning a trip down you can contact me and I can put you in contact with them for a day sail maybe. I am sure it helps to know someone local in Cuba.

Thanks a lot,

Hi,
I have sailed to Cuba three times, the last time on my E-27. The restrictions on sailing to Cuba are legion and, for now, hard to get around. I'm a journalist and have some wiggle room. But I think that an American taking Cuban nationals for a day sail would bring on an avalanche of officials like no one has ever seen. Believe me, the Cubans don't have much, but they have a huge number of officials and a bureaucracy that would rival India's. And they are real possessive about their citizens.
