Hey Tim, looks like Shamus is "Dog Tired". Must have had a couple of snorts before the official cocktail hour.
I noticed your folding wheel. We have had ours for a couple of years now and we really like it. The grips you secure the spokes with seem to loosen a bit while sailing though. Every now and then I just tighten them. Does yours do this too??

He does like Bourbon!
I have had mine for a year now and the grips are very stiff and never budge either way. I do have some stitching coming loose though. I put in a call to Lewmar last week and have not gotten a return call yet. Not the best way to get on my good side.

Here are a couple of photos of the ship's dog, Jack, on Papillon during our cruise through the Gulf Islands a couple of weeks ago. He turns his nose up at beer...but I'm not sharing the rum so we'll never know if he likes that!

Here are Miss Molly and Mr. Bunz on our 35 MK II. They sometimes leave us a little room.

The folding wheel idea - maybe next years fathers day gift?
Our 75lb Red Doberman started out racing on the Ultimate 20. Get this he sits on the rail! E28 not so much seems the smaller cockpit sort freaks him out but he likes to go sailing. Any time his life jacket is spotted he gets all excited. Ruffwear boots are a must keeps him planted on the deck and keeps the teak nice below. His favorite spot on the e28 when not sailing is crammed back in the Quarter berth snooring like a bear in a cave.
I'll dig up some picts and post. Both U20 and E28

Here are 2 of ours out for a sail (Summer and Lulu). We have a third also, who didn't make it in the pictures. We don't take them too often, 3 dogs on a boat can be a handful. The day after these pics were taken, we had the dogs on the dock while we did a few projects. Summer (the boxer) fell asleep against the boat next to us, the boat moved, and she rolled right into the drink! I think that was a pretty shocking awakening for her, but hilarious for us.
