Passing east of Yerba Buena Island

Hi all,

with all the construction of the eastern span of the Bay Bridge, can someone tell me if I still can pass from Pt. Richmond to South Beach going east of the Yerba Buena Island? Map says yes...

Yes the channel is open. Don't run into the barges anchored out on the eastern edge of the channel, or the bridge pilings, and you should be fine!

I went through there last Thursday with no problems. Watch for the buoys under the old span.
