Moorings in Portsmouth, ME area

We are coming up on our 3rd season at a mooring on the Merrimac River in Newburyport and are starting to consider keeping our 32-300 a little further north to be able to access different cruising grounds faster.

Does anyone know of a location in the Portsmouth, ME area that would have anything open for next year? Any other ideas?

Do you mean Portland, Maine? Moorings are probably available in Falmouth at Handyboat. Also check Spring Point Marina in S. Portland. I am at Centerboard Yacht Club and we are full although it is a good idea to try for membership and get on the waiting list. We have the best field in Portland Harbor and it is a nice relaxed atmoshpere.

There is a mooring on Craiagslist in Elliot Maine (listed under New Hampshire) for a mooring...Elliot is the other side of Portsmouth harbor, same thing...
