Mast Gates

I am in the need for some mast gates for my E-27 .I have a good source, but here is my problem; my boat is 100 miles away, secured for the winter and I don't know how long the mast slug slot is! My source has only made them for Catalina 25's , but he just emailed me that he wants to try to make me a set. Believe me, they are a stainless work of art! The ones for the Catalinas are about $35 and worked great. Can anyone help with this dimension? The mast wall thickness would be helpful too. Email ok, bnixon1columbus.rr.com Thanks!

I wonder if all the openings would be the same length from mast to mast. I have my plates at work and could measure more closely if you have interest.

Walter, Yes, sure looks the same and worth a try also the thickness would be helpfull. Thanks for your trouble, I was only able to retreve the photo but your solution looks like a good option.
