Ericson 27 Newbie

Hello all you Great Lakers. I am the new owner of a 1974 ericson 27 "ragamuffin". It has been a Great Lakes boat all it's life and I think the only one with a OMC Saildrive. Hull 547. Morred in Monroe harbor.

I love this boat it sails great and will track, that was exciting :egrin: I always read about it and finally have a boat that can do it. My last boat was a Columbia 26MK II.

I share your enthusiasm!
I have a '73 E27, #406 that sails wonderful. Last Friday, in 18-20 knot winds; double reefed; single-handed; with sails trimmed; the boat sailed so well that I could sit on the rear pull-pit and watch it go to whether and fall-off all by it's self. We've got some good'ole sailing boats!
