Info needed

I am currently looking at a 1981 Ericson 28. The boat looks pristine but has never had any wiring work done on it. I am looking to find out if there are any problems associated with the 28 in this year group. I currently sail a 20'CRI and am looking at living abord this boat. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There has been a lot of discussion on this board regarding rewiring the starter/solenoid if you have the Universal engine.
Fairly simple process.
