Properly Propped?

I am about to choose a propeller for my E 32(1971), and have been receiving feedback from different companies, either go for a 15" x10 pitch, or a 14" x13, and thereabouts. Has anyone with this boat, with a "diesel" (2gm20)- 2.62 reduction, chosen a prop that is the best for sailing and cruising? I am interested in the largest the that space will provide. A 15" only allows 1.25" to hull.? Any other input would be appreciated.

I think the hull to prop clearance to avoid cavitation is 10-15% of diameter. So by that rule (if I'm remembering it correctly) you should stick with the 14".
