Had a friend and his fiance as guests for a daysail this afternoon. Crystal clear skies with both Mt. Baldy and Catalina visible, steady northwest wind, sailing along at hull speed and enjoying the afternoon with a beer and friends.
So now I've got two more crew prospects. :egrin:

Wow was it nice, both on saturday and sunday.
On Saturday, "Voice of Reason" raced in the Classic Plastic Regatta held on Santa Monica Bay. Wind was consistent 10-15 and it was beautiful and sunny. The 1st Annual Southern California edition of the Classic Plastic Regatta is for fiberglass boats designed before 1980.
"Voice of Reason" did Ericsons proud, taking 3rd place honors over an 11 mile course (with, I might add, a 35 year old headsail), losing out only to a very fast Cal 30 and a fast Excalibur 26 which handicapped over us.

It was beautiful !
Went out on a friend's E29 on Saturday and went out on La Petite on Sunday.
Rough life !
