Well, old age finally caught up to my 27. My tiller fork broke. The tiller fork is that H shaped piece of cast brass that connects the wooden tiller handle to the tiller head coming up out of the deck.
I had it re-brazed, but I don't have the confidence in it that I would have in a new one.
So... does anyone know (a) where I can find a new/used one or (b) locate someone that would be willing to make a new for me out of stainless?

The only alternative is to buy a wheel and that is going to be way too expensive.

Pacific Seacraft purchased Ericson Yachts when they went out of business. Pacific Seacraft may have the info you need. There # is (888) 393-1610. Robin works in costomer service. I believ he also worked for Ericson. Robin is very helpful and will be able to answer your question.
Also, most metal shops can refabricate the tiller fitting.
Good luck

I called Pacific Seacraft. Robin is no longer there and they do not have a lot of the cast metal parts in their inventory. So my search continues.

Thanks anyway,
Duncan
