Nice to spot so many Ericson's on the Bay yesterday during Fleet Week.

Hope you enjoyed the Blue Angels and the sight of so many boats finally getting out of their marinas.

Must have been a busy day for the Coast Guard!

Any tales to tell?

Spotted E-27 "Scumbucket" and E-32 "Simplicity", amongst others.

Wasn't it spectacular though? I think there were more boats of all sizes and descriptions than I've ever seen on the bay.

We got out of the Gate with no hassle fron wind or current. We were on our way back in , between the Gate and Alcatraz when the Blue Angels finally came around, the sun
came out, and the Chardonay was perfect.

All in all, a sensational day on the Bay. I saw several Ericsons but only got close enough to AWOL, another E-35, to say hello.

Indeed, saturday was a great day on the bay. I had my 1972 35' out for the festivities sailing back and forth on the eastern edge of the no boat zone. What a joy to have f-18s flying overhead at what seemed like 200'!

My 35' is rather conspicious in that there is no name on it (i.e. the transom is blank)but is noted for the green boot stripe and green accent stripe.

Hope to see you all out there again.

John
