Big Spring Swap Meet, Lake Union

Richard, the editor at 48 North, was kind enough to post the date for me to announce in advance.
Seattle, April 9, 2005. This is in the Fisheries/Crow's Nest parking lot, north side of Lake Union, across from Gasworks Park.

We plan to be there at dawn to look for bargains....

If anyone wants to meet for a late breakfast at about 11 am, that would be great. If it's a good day to go for an afternoon sail, the drinks and sandwiches are on me! (It's been years since I have been out on the Sound.)

Presuming that it will again be sponsored by TBYC, you would need to contact one of their members or just call the moorage office at Tomahawk Bay Marina. There may also still be one in the parking lot in front of West Marine -- check with their staff for a possible date.

Note that the one in Seattle is the Big Kahuna of NW swap meets, many magnitudes larger than anything in our fair city....
