A4 Mechanic in St Petersburg

Does anyone know of a good, fair, honest, competent, engine mechanic who can work on an Atomic Four. I have a '73 Ericson 29 (recently purchased). The engine runs ok but I think it has been a while since it has been looked at. the boat is located in St Petersburg, FL and would like to find a good local mechanic to help me keep the engine in top condition. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

The Snead Island Boat Works in Palmetto does this kind of work well. 941-722-2400. Ask for Sue. Explain what you want, and she will schedule it. You bring your boat to them. I keep my Ericson 27 there. This is a boat yard from "out of the past." The job will be done when it is done,cost what it costs and it will be perfect. A lot of people search their whole lives for a boat yard like this.
