Well, You have come to the right place! Ask any question you would like and I am sure that the folks here will give you a wealth of feed back from a voice of experience. This is undoubtibly the best web site for information about Ericsons and about sailing in general on the web.

E37 docs

Jim's right - tons of stuff here. Try the specs and docs section - I saw a 37 brouchure and review there. You might also find the doc for the winches, don't know what type were on the 37 but there is a bunch of Barient info available.

Any question you might have, search for stuff here or post it and you'll probably get a bunch of replies - I've been amazed at how helpful everyone is.

Those Other E-37 owners......

And, do not forget owners of sisterships, listed in the Owners and Projects forum, then click on Owners/Yachts Registry and then look under Ericson 37 and view the owners and their email addresses.
I would think that they would be willing to exchange information with you.

Best,

Loren

Here's a bit of background on the boat. She was
designed by my father for the one ton cup. He owned
hull #1 and campaigned her successfully for the first
couple of years. She was a popular racer-cruiser and
had a similar bottom to the 39 and 46. Congratulations
on buying a fine boat.

Since it was designed by Bruce King you can probably get a number of the original drawings from BKYD (www.bkyd.com). They charge something like $10 per set. If you contact Pam King from the contact list on the web site she can help you out.
