Bottom paint

My 1971 e-29 "Capricious" , moored in Oceanside Harbor, needs bottom paint. Any recommendations as to a yard where I can do the initial prep work myself? Best yard for the complete job? Best products to use? Thanks, Ray.

Hi - I recently moved my boat to Driscoll's Mission Bay Marina - You might give them a call - It appears to me that the yard allows owners to work on boats, even on weekends, and you won't find a quieter place in So. Cal. - Let me know - I am there most mornings and can lend a hand even if it is only for moral support -
