Sailing in San Diego

My wife and I are planning a trip to San Diego, second week of December, only been there once for a brief time. If we want to go sailing where should I look, to charter/rent a boat for half a day? Is there still an America's Cup AC class boat there that one can go out on? I am very experienced so shouldn't have an issue if charter or rental requires experience.
