Update: I just spoke to a mechanic who:
1) Ruled out the damper plate since it would make the noise all the time,
2) Told
This has come up before and I don't believe there is a source for the original bolts. I think you will probably need to have them fabricated.
I would look at replacing it with a new ZF-6-M gear box, if it will fit. I believe the ZF gear box is a little longer, but you might have room for it.
You forgot to also mention that their prices are outrageous...
You might want to check with Ballenger Spars, they could probably fabricate
The second picture is one "like" the one on the boat , representative of the damaged one , it shows duplicate style /shape and welded configuration
Drained the fluid. Although it was mostly a clear cherry syrup color, there were tiny goldish/silverish sparkles on the surface--just pinpoints of light.

Just what is a "recreational use" product, anyway ?
Reading over a current thread that discussed the dismal failure rate of a electrical solenoid valve on another boat, and the suggestion that an industrial valve assembly would be a better choice......
