My Waeco CU 84 is not cooling. It is 10 year old and I believe it needs to be regassed. Is this possible?

Yes
The quick connects in the system leak quite a bit.
Unless you have punched a hole in the evaporator plate trying to thaw it, or the aluminum evaporator plate has corroded to the point that there is a hole in it; You can get it refilled and probably have it last another 5 years, or less, as once the quick connects start leaking they tend to leak at an accelerated rate.
