Many sailboat owners carry the “wounds” caused by a lively sail or trying to squeeze 205 lbs (my weight) into a space only meant for 175 lbs and at the same time turn a bolt or screw. As one who is on a daily blood thinner, originally prescribed because of afib which has been cured with the medical miracle of ablation, a simple bump can result in a very noticeable bruise. But at 70 I’m not complaining cause at least I can still handle a 32 foot sailboat solo and replace a fault head and associated plumbing with the best of them. I just sometimes look like I’ve done a few rounds with Ali a day or so afterwards.
