Rudder is Rotten

I got into repairing my 1974 E32-2 rudder and found the steel within to be done. I've contacted both Foss companies and prices are significantly diff.. Anyone have experience or some input....LMK.. I'm not looking forward to the cost but it's kind of a needed pc.... Thanks

Know all about how they welded stainless steel shaft to Black metal inside the rudder. Has cost me many $1,000. Because of damage when and after it broke.
I built my own... did right this time.
