E 37 Hull identification number

Does anyone have any idea where to find the HIN on a 1973 E 37? The boat has been painted sometime in the past so maybe it was painted over, but I can't find anything on the transom.

Other owners will have better info, but plan B is to look around the molded-out parts inside for the second "hidden" HIN. Ours was molded into the top of the quarter berth surface, way aft and not too easy to spot. Other models have it on the engine stringer molding.
