Acuheat - replacement fan

We have just purchased a beautiful 1990 35-3 and have a few projects to work on. The first is replacing the Espar and the fan in the Acuheat unit. Heatercraft tell me the Acuheat 700 H unit is no longer available nor are any spares. Does anyone have experience on replacing the fan in these units? I'd be interested in learning (i) how to remove the fan and (ii) which type of replacement fan was used.

I figured this out and forgot to post on it. I ended up buying a computer 12v fan and it fits perfectly. The removal and installation was straight forward when you realize you are just replacing the fan unit.
