A/C circuit breaker

Good evening all,

We are still using the original electrical panel in our 84 35-III. I need to replace a 15 amp breaker that has failed. It is labeled AMF Potter & Brumfield on the side and 112-215-101 on top. I have searched the net and I located a replacement for $28.12 + shipping.

Is there a better solution then going back to the same style without having to replace the whole panel? Something safer? The breaker has lasted 31 years so I think I have gotten my monies worth...

Any advise is welcome.

Thank you in advance,

I'd stick with the oem; it's lasted all these years; must be pretty good equipment. I shudder to think about swapping components; mine is newmar and I stick with their parts. I mean, other components might work fine but I don't want to become an expert on which brands work and which don't; it's not worth the couple of bucks u might save.
