SV Akoya
Greetings all.
Akoya is now in Hobart, Tasmania after a 20 day sail down the east coast of Australia from Port Stephens. A total of approx. 850nm. Fuel consumption was around 60 litres...we did lots of sailing...
Followers of the Independence 31 will know she was the very last to be built and perhaps the only one in Australia. Shame there wasn't more of these built...Bruce King did an excellent job with this design.
