sticking

I was at the boat last week and was moving the rudder back and forth, I noticed at about 45 or less deg. The rudder stuck to the bottom of the hull. Is this normal? If not, what needs to be done :esad: you can see in the photo where the rudder sticks, pot side, white marks in bottom paint.

I recently replaced my glow plug push button switch on our 1989 E-34. While motoring, I noticed an acrid smell, which turned out to be the 'melting' fuse holder I had added in the new, thicker 12 volt wire, supply line to the ignition panel. What could possibly cause that kind of draw?? Turned...
